The tannery is composed of numerous stone vessels filled with a vast range of dyes and various odorous liquids. The tannery processes the hides (skins) of sheep and goats, turning them into high quality leather products such as bags, coats, shoes, slippers and other similar products. This is all achieved manually, without the need for modern machinery.

Thanks :)
It definitely was an intense day ... filled with new experiences .... such an eye opener but it's definitely prepped me for Marrakech... although the day ended on a poor note, in that I was supposed to go to a Hammam for massage adnd scrub and for some reason .. my guide didn't show up. I was really excited about this ... especially since I actually bought a Jellaba ... I wore it around tonight walking on the street and I love the lack of attention it draws, initially .. in the end though the guys are very, very quick to notice when you don't know where you're going because you can't fake it
