Interesting World Cup thoughts and travel plans

Well I thought to myself, that since this World Cup journey started about a year ago in early 2004, I would start the blog from that point, but honestly as a Trini, and after Nov 19th, 1989, I was always hesitant to believe. Not anymore, I will tell yuh.

The idea behind this page is that because the next 7 months will be consumed with two tasks. The first will be to plan for my foreign based friends to play in Poison 2006 and the next task is to contact every person I know in Germany or environs, so I am best prepared for Germany 2006.

The format of this exercise will be in blog and photoblog fashion. Since Gary and I will be on this vacation and he will be meeting me in Germany via Turkey, while I will be Germany via England. Our paths will be different, but we have agreed that we should meet in London and travel to Germany from there. Blog Entry Nov 16th 2005

I have been up since about 3 am researching and what not, but I cant sleep. I seriously cannot sleep.. the excitement is coursing through my veins. I think, I have packed and repacked, checked all the electronics in my bag, made a to do list.

Damn, Im carrying a lot of tech toys

  • Fully Loaded PDA, with about a 1 gig of travel infomation and books.
  • 4 gigs of storage and Canon S70
  • PSP with games
  • Phone with music
  • Camcorder
  • Travel adapter kit
  • assorted power cords

Of course, one would think, why would someone want all this stuff. Well I need to be amused, I need to read, I need to listen to music to sleep.

Im carrying sheets! This is a relatively new phenomenon for me when travelling but I just have seen too many hotel confidential documentaries that are absolutely disgusting. Anyway it is too cold in my condo and I think I am going to nap before my training class. What a waste of my time... blasted change management training. Will I ever need to document my fricking change controls?? Like seriously?!!
