Can I have a piece of KFC … Spicy … and it comes with …

RICE??!???!

So for early lunch today, I decided that I would grab something quick. Walking around the campus here, I saw most brands but being the Trini I am … and coming from a country with the world’s greatest KFC, I wanted to try the KFC in Manila.

Mistake!! Conclusions …

  • Chicken tastes like grease … duh … but serious grease
  • Smells like ass
  • Zinger sandwich was horrible .. took one bite and chucked it
  • Gravy was terrible … In Canada, KFC gravy has crack added to it. You know the gravy is disgusting for your body, but KFC gravy and Swiss Chalet fries would be the greatest Fries and Sauce ever!! <Shows how Canadianized I’ve become>

Now on to the surprise … I know the flips love their rice. Like seriously … they actually have chicken with unlimited rice in place. HOwever, I opened my bag of KFC and loaded in the container was a neat little package …

\

Of course, I thought it was a biscuit or something … but lo and behold …

Like seriously? I’m going to break up my fried chicken and put it into plain rice??? That’s just my first taste of Filipino weirdness today!!!
