Even flying first class to Hong Kong is ridiculously long …

The one thing to consider when flying from North America to Asia is that no matter what class you’re flying in, it is a long, long flight – my first two trips to Asia seemed shorter but this one seemed brutal.

Here is what the last 15 1/2 hours have consisted of

First 20 mins was spent playing with the AV system and reacquainting myself with the lie flat seat controls
After that, it was on to the first movie : Harry Potter and Deathly Hallows – Part 1
Quick walk around, then it was on to the second movie – True Grit
Then a quick nap, since I couldn’t fall asleep for long, so then it was on the third movie which was Due Date … what a pile of dogshit
Checking the flight map

Then another quick nap, then my 4th movie – Iron Man 2.
Then my legs were getting tired – yes! My legs we’re tired from being on a lie flat seat for the last 10 hours
Then another quick nap, and it was on to the 5th movie – Morning Glory
Finally, between taking a couple pictures in Executive Class and trying to walk around, I put on the final movie – Inception.

I’m actually impressed with the selection of movies that they had in Exec Class – all newer movies and a good time waster.

Finally in Hong Kong .. I do love the Cathay Pacific lounge with the noodle bar

And nothing like not knowing where you have to go …
