Good morning from Guatemala City …

I really like the location of the Westin Camino Real here in Guatemala City. It’s definitely a safe location here in the center of the city. The last time we were here, we had a great suite on the executive floor (9th floor), but as a tip for those not staying on a high floor : Do ask for rooms that face the inner court. This hotel is in a high traffic area and has some noise, especially during the weekend.
The nice thing about getting up early, if you are waken up by drums, is that you also get to take some nice pictures. There was the Avon Breast Cancer walk going on this morning …
