Regular Weekend in Toronto: 6th June 03.

Well, this week finally ended, such a long and tiring week. Did nothing this week except work and sleep. Such a boring week and all, but it was productive, I tell you Peoplesoft Training and all is some tiring shit and more and more work seems to be piling on top of me. But it is cool. Well Of course the highlight of last weekend and all was when I bought my new Panasonic CT-800 CD/MP3 player. It cost me about 200.00 and all, but here is the specs on it if you care, but it sweet, with a remote control and extra shock protection and all. The review is here

Well besides that no much at all, sometimes it is insane how boring city life can be and all, but the benefits outweighs the negatives and all. Well I am going back to Montreal next week, so that should as usual be the blingeth of bling weekend, in addtion it is going to be Grand Prix Weekend in Montreal, of course I will be armed with my new Samsung 4 Mega Pixel camera, I dont think I have eever really spent that much money on anything since I have been here except like rent but hey it is money and you have to spend it and all.

Well I bought the camera this friday, after much deliberation and everything. First I was going to get the sweet little Dimage X from Minolta, but the package deal that I was getting was 550.00 for the camera and a 128 SD card. This was a good deal at the time but in the end I kinda held back and all from that purchase. I looked at the DimageXI which was about 700.00, now these cameras are special because they are so frigging slim and compact. But in the end I ended up with the Digimax V4 from Samsung. This is a sweet camera with all the features of a professional grade camera with a ridiculously good zoom and everything. The image quality is extremely good, with a bit of under saturation in some of the images but it is nothing that Photoshop cannot fix for me and all. Of couse in the end I got a 4 Meg camera , with a 256M flash card and a charger with 2 rechargeable batteries for it for 750.00 everything included which was a great deal. But spending 750.00 when my insurance money has not come in as yet is still a lot of money and I will be moving at the end of the month and all. But hey by that time I will have my insurance money and thing... so that should be cool, even if I dont have it, my pay will cover everything anyway so it is cool and all.
