When was the last time that you went to a drive in movie? For me, the last time was at “Kay Donna” in Trinidad, which has been under renovations for the last 100 years … I went about 20 years ago.
I don’t know why I stopped going, but I think it was the combination of not being able to drive, nowhere to go and hating mosquitoes that stopped me from going. In Toronto, there’s the Docks Drive in movie theater … but in the last 10+ years of living in Toronto, I’ve never gone … there’s just not anything romantic about a Drive In movie theater in Toronto.
On a Friday night in summer, I would absolutely recommend the Brackley Drive In as something to do … we had a blast going through all the retro entertainment options and the old school ads they played for the intermission.
It was also a perfect night for the drive in with a super bright moon and everything.
