Trinidad Winning

What an eventful couple of days but lemme start with the best news.
Trinidad beats Mexico 2-1 and I am going fricking Germany is we win... I have a dream and it goes as follows

and Machel, while we sipping 1824, wearing our Trini to the bone Carib T-Shirts
and waving around a 10 ft Trini Flag.. so my mom can see me in Kaiserslauten

Now of course the adventure that was that night watching the match was something else. Since Gary and I were looking for somewhere in Toronto that was showing the match. We drove around everywhere in the hope of find the match.... now we check Cafe Azzurri -- some $%#^$#$^ bar in Little Italy and they did not have it, we went to some Asian bar, where we saw Asian porn, but no football *sigh* , we were so desperate to see the match that we did not eat anything in the 2 hour drive around lower downtown Toronto looking for somewhere to see the match.

We had friends calling us to give minute by minute updates to the score. First we heard it was 0-0 in the 36th minute and how Stern missed a penalty.... STERN is a WHORE.... and 50 types of cuss was flying around the SUV and everything. Then we heard that Mexico was ahead and then more cuss, and I became very very discouraged and depressed all at once, since I knew that GOATEMALA not Guatemala was leading by 3-0 vs a Costa Rican side that was spawned from donkey whores, so obviously they sold the match to their Central American whore counterparts. I immediately wanted to go home, but Gary persisted and he was adamat that it was not over and reminded me how we scored in the 62 minute vs Panama to keep the fraulein dream alive.

Well of course we kept at it and then we got the news that we were leading 2-1 and it was the 80th minute... at once we decided we wanted to see it on the computer..... and for 7 heart wrenching minutes we both stood by a computer screen, hoping and praying that the Strike Squad, not the frickin soca warriors..... would pull it off and send us into delirious heights of ecstacy and keep the dream of Schauenfraude and Frauleins alive for us...

and in the end -- the STERN goal of the week.. was a winner for us and now we are alive and waiting to play Bahrain.... and of course Bahrain any crazy football by Bahrain... we going to Germany and I now need to save 6,000$ CAN for the trip and expenses and everything for what will indeed be the lime of a lifetime.. indeed the lime of my young lifetime!! I can do Carnival every year but I am sure that I wont get to do the World Cup lime before I have grand kids, and indeed every ticket that I get, I will frame with pics and each shirt I wore.. since I have to buy three soca warriors/strike squad jerseys for the 3 matches that we will get in the World Cup.. indeed, the dream is only to appear and have everyone see us in the World Cup! How great that would be and all!!
